The XF 23mm f/2 WR prime lens is equivalent to a 35mm full frame with 63.4 degree angle of view. This is considered a wide angle lens, which allows a lot of the scene to be in frame. While it’s not super wide, it can be used for landscape and architectural photography, and will work well for environmental portraits, and is generally good to carry around as an all-purpose small prime, thanks to it’s compact size and light weight.
The f/2 aperture allows a good amount of light through the lens, but in low light situations it is recommended to use it’s f/1.4 sibling lens.
The XF 23mm f/2 WR is weather resistant, and sits well on all Fujifilm X-mount cameras.
